Mahdi Ebrahimi is an Associate Professor of
Computer Science
at
California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
He earned his doctoral degree with a specialization in data management.
His research focuses on big data management and cloud computing,
particularly the management and optimization of large-scale scientific workflows.
His work includes the development of metaheuristic optimization algorithms for
cloud data placement, resource allocation, and workflow scheduling.
Dr. Ebrahimi has published research in peer-reviewed international
journals and conference proceedings, including the
IEEE International Conference on Big Data,
IEEE International Congress on Big Data, and
IEEE International Conference on Big Data Computing Service and Applications.
His primary research interests include Big Data Management, Cloud Computing,
Scientific Workflows, Data Placement, Scheduling, and Optimization.
He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
(IEEE).
